about us

We are three friends who had a dream to open a cosy, friendly bar, with the best craft beers, artisan ciders, great wines, and spirits which are a bit out of the ordinary.
When the opportunity came along in Horwich, we jumped at the chance, building all the interior ourselves (long days and long nights).
Our aim is to source the best drinks around, with a local focus.
We are a teacher, a facilities manager and ex-head of IT, who currently remain in our day jobs, whilst running the bar.
You will be guaranteed a warm welcome in our cosy pub. 
Dogs are welcome and children too (daytime only).

We are situated in central Horwich, midway between Bolton and Chorley.
The 125 bus (Bolton - Preston) stops right outside the door (at Sainsbury's).
There are 2 train stations - Horwich Parkway and Blackrod, and a £5 (approx.) taxi will drop you right at the door.
There is also free parking in Horwich, the closest is just behind the bar, at Beaumont Road car park.
